Collections Department

Our Collections Department is a subdivision of the Bee County Clerk’s Office. It is focused solely on criminal cases
and seeking monetary compensation from court orders or verdicts. 

Our Collections efforts enforces the collection of all court ordered fees and fines in all misdemeanor criminal cases. 

Specific duties include:

  • Drafting a three month payment contract for defendants to comply with according to court orders.
  • Collecting payments for court fines and fees.
  • Responding to state mandated collections procedures when a defendant fails to comply with the preset contract.
The County Clerk’s mission is to provide customer service care, high revenue performance, and state audit assurance
and compliance.
